Global Tiger Patrol (GTP)

Our partner of 15 years, the charity Global Tiger Patrol (GTP) is dissolving at the end of the year. Their crucial work has been supporting projects across India, most recently in the Western Ghats and the Sunderbans.

21st Century Tiger has valued this long relationship and will continue the spirit of the partnership through Zoological Society of London and Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation.  Alongside the Amur Leopard and Tiger Alliance (ALTA) 21st Century Tiger will continue to pursue a future for wild tigers everywhere.

GTP statement

“The GTP Trustees have decided that in order to avoid duplication of activities and associated costs the Charity’s funds will be passed to and administered by 21st Century Tiger.

21st Century Tiger will continue to encourage and welcome grant applications from tiger conservation projects in India.

GTP’s Travel Operators For Tigers (TOFT) campaign, which has focused on better wildlife tourism practices across tiger reserves, will now become a separate Not for Profit Initiative.”
