Tiger poisoned in Nagarahole

A tiger has been poisoned in Nagarahole Tiger Reserve but it is unsure as yet if it was killed in revenge by villagers or poisoned by poachers. An investigation is underway. According to sources the young tiger, found away from any village and in an area that had a good prey to tiger ratio, suggests that poachers were sadly the more likely option.
