Tigers and other endangered species; the orangutan, rhino and elephant have become the focus of a new collaborative social media campaign.  21st Century Tiger recently participated in #thebigroar, Twitter Q&A session,  as part of an initiative called “If they’re gone…”

Tigers...If they're gone

This campaign has brought together Government (DEFRA), international law enforcement teams (Interpol) and a host of conservationists, Zoo’s and NGO’s in a unique and collaborative way.  #thebigroar gave the public an open platform to question and in some cases interrogate officials on current conservation policy.

We were delighted to have been a part of the campaign & hope that this project continues to gather momentum and spread awareness of the plight of wild tigers, rhinos, elephants and orangutans and how we can all help save them from extinction.

They have now collated the best bits of #thebigroar Twitter event here.  You can see a few questions and comments from us about palm oil and some great responses from ZSL on tigers.
