Sponsored walk for wild tigers!

Join 21st Century Tiger and Walk4Wildlife on a 20 mile sponsored walk for tigers around London’s famous Richmond Park and across Wimbledon Common on Sunday 10th September.

The walk begins towards the northeast corner of the park and continues around the perimeter, before crossing onto Wimbledon Common.  On the common, we make our way to the midway point where we will stop for a ‘picnic on the common’.

All we ask is that you commit to raise a minimum sponsorship of £150 for 21st Century Tiger and register via the Walk4Wildlife website. Registration for the event costs £25.

Richmond Park is one of the six Royal Parks and the largest enclosed space in London, home to herds of red and fallow deer with classic views of the city of London. Wimbledon Common is famously home to the Wombles. Together they represent some of London’s most important Sites of Special Scientific Interest, with a wide variety of native flora and fauna.

Bring your friends, family and a picnic lunch. There is a shorter route which may be more suitable for those with younger children, so please do get in touch with Walk4Wildlife to request details before registering.
