Big Cats Fighting for Survival

Date: 13th October 2016
Time: 18:30 – 21:00

Colchester Zoo will host an evening of big cat conservation talks.

Three big cat conservation organisations  talk about the problems tigers and Amur leopards face in the wild and how conservationists work together to prevent their extinction.

Brought to you by Wildlife photographer and fundraiser Barbara Meyer, the evening will see talks from:

21st Century Tiger
ALTA Amur Leopard & Tiger Alliance
Wildlife Vets International
Bonus talk –  Colchester Zoo curators will tell us their experience of  patrolling in the Kerinci Seblat National Park on Sumatra with the anti-poaching Tiger Protection and Conservation Units (TPCUs).

Tickets for the evening cost £5 (£3 for zoo pass holders)
