Global Tiger Day 29 July 2014

“Global Tiger Day was established in 2010 at the St Petersburg Tiger Summit when tiger range countries declared their aim to double wild tiger numbers by 2022. This day is an opportunity to raise funds for wild tiger conservation and more importantly build awareness of the issues effecting their survival – but we need your help!”

How can you support us on Global Tiger Day?

We are encouraging our supporters and tiger lovers across the world to put on fundraising events on this day and help us raise as much as possible for wild tigers.  We’ve pulled together some resources to help you including posters and pictures to use online to show your support.

  • ROAR_Tiger_Cathedral_School12We’ve prepared posters to help you advertise your own events. You could hold a fundraising event at your business, home or clubs you attend.  Encourage participants to wear stripes for a day, hold a bake sale or coffee morning – don’t forget to let us know what you are doing so we can help you to advertise!
  • If you own a small business, you could pop up one of our posters and have a collection jar out for us, check below for our resources section and print-it-yourself labels and posters.
  • Add a Twibbon to your Facebook and/or Twitter pages.
  • Replace your Facebook Cover with one of our special Tiger Day covers from the resource section below.
  • Find out if your local zoo are running special activities!
  • Check out our full fundraising inspiration guide, or fundraisers gallery for more ideas.
